I knew the odds were stacked against me, but fortune favours the bold.

In the wake of the post-COVID economy and the recent wave of tech layoffs, my resolve remained strong. Instead of succumbing to adversity, I persisted, turning every setback into a stepping stone as I dedicated myself to continual learning and improving my craft.

INTERESTS BEYOND DESIGN

I enjoy staying creative, whether I’m making music, designing, or learning something new. I'm very passionate about music and aspire to share my sound one day.

Outside of my creative work, I love to stay active with weightlifting and MMA, explore new restaurants, and stay up to date on the latest design and tech news.

MY STORY

My journey into design has been a transformative experience fueled by passion, resilience, and a commitment to growth. It began in the summer of 2022, where I was at a crossroads in my career, during a visit to Montreal where a friend introduced me to UX design.

I always had an insatiable hunger for creativity and a love for impeccable craftsmanship. In the midst of uncertainty, I recognized a rare opportunity to rekindle my lifelong fascination with design and to redefine my career on my terms.

MAKING IT HAPPEN

To my advantage, I was able to leverage a lot of the skills and design principles I had picked up when I worked as a graphics designer to greatly expedite my journey of self-learning UX design.

I loved solving problems through creating things and really value visual storytelling and strong precision and craftsmanship in my work.

My story is a testament to the belief that passion, resilience, and a commitment to growth can defy the odds.
